Vegetables

  1. A. Beds: Spread 2-4 inches of Baccto Top Soil or Baccto Peat and till into 4-8 inches of soil. Water and apply an all purpose starter fertilizer. Lime as need from a soil test.

  2. B. Containers:     Use Baccto Premium Potting Soil or Baccto Lite Premium Potting Soil. Remember, these contain a starter and slow release fertilizer. Water as needed. Tomatoes require additional calcium; this can be supplied from a fertilizer such as Calcium Nitrate.

Flowers

  1. A. Beds: Spread 2-4 inches of Baccto Top Soil or Baccto Peat and till into 4-8 inches of soil.  Water and apply an all purpose starter fertilizer.


B. Containers: Use Baccto Premium Potting Soil or Baccto Lite Premium Potting Soil. These are general purpose potting soils that have a starter and slow release fertilizer charge added.
